Returns Policy

At Dancewear Outlet, we are committed to offering high-quality dancewear at exceptional value. As many of our products are clearance, end-of-line, or second-hand, we encourage customers to read product descriptions carefully and choose items thoughtfully. Nevertheless, we aim to remain transparent and compliant with UK consumer law.

Returns Eligibility

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers have the right to return eligible items purchased online within 14 days of receiving their order.

To be eligible for a return:

- Items must be in their original condition, unworn, unused, and with any original tags or packaging where applicable.

- You must notify us of your intention to return within 14 days of receiving your order by emailing sales@dancewearoutlet.co.uk.

- Items must be returned at the customer’s expense unless they are faulty or incorrectly supplied.

Items Not Eligible for Return

Please note that we do not accept returns on the following, unless faulty:

- Second-hand items or items sold with known defects (clearly stated in the product description).

- Tights, socks, hair accessories and undergarments for hygiene reasons.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If an item is faulty or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will provide a replacement or refund where appropriate, and return postage will be covered by us in these cases.

How to Request a Return

To request a return, please contact us at sales@dancewearoutlet.co.uk with your order number as the subject of the email and reason for return. We will provide instructions on how to proceed.

 

Exchanges Policy

At Dancewear Outlet, we strive to provide accurate descriptions and sizing information to help you choose the right items first time. As a small, family-run business offering clearance, second-hand, and end-of-line stock, we are unable to offer standard exchanges at this time.

We encourage all customers to review item details carefully before purchasing, and contact us if you need further information about sizing or condition.

Need a Different Item?

If you wish to change an item (e.g. for a different size or style), the simplest option is to:

- Return the original item in line with our Returns Policy, and

- Place a new order for the replacement item you’d like.

This ensures faster processing and helps us maintain accurate stock levels.

Exceptions

In the rare event that an item is faulty or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will either offer a replacement (subject to availability) or a full refund.

 

Refunds Policy

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll send you an email to confirm its arrival to us. We will then notify you whether your refund has been approved or denied. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be issued to your original method of payment within a few business days.

Late/Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Double-check your bank account to ensure the refund hasn’t been posted.

  2. Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time for the refund to officially appear.

  3. Reach out to your bank, since processing times can vary.
